Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup Irish whiskey
  • 1 lb dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder for rolling

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chocolate Mixture:
    • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped dark chocolate, heavy cream, and butter.
    • Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  2. Add Whiskey and Salt:
    • Stir in the Irish whiskey and sea salt until well combined.
  3. Chill the Mixture:
    • Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours until it is firm enough to shape into truffles.
  4. Shape the Truffles:
    • Using a small scoop or spoon, scoop out portions of the chocolate mixture and roll them into balls.
    • Roll each truffle in unsweetened cocoa powder to coat.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve the truffles immediately or store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
